Tastefully Ted. 2013

The 2013 Tastefully Ted. event at the Publick House on February 1st was once again a great success. More than $6,000 was raised through ticket sales, dessert box donations, and the silent auction — an increase of more than $1,300 from the previous year!

The pre-Valentine’s array of delectable desserts prepared by local restaurants included crème brulee, chocolate dipped strawberries, chocolate espresso mousse, Cakettes, New England Indian pudding, carrot cake, red velvet cupcakes, and so much more.

Music for the event was provided by the astounding Tantasqua Regional High School Jazz Band and attendees vied for silent auction items including gift certificates, Worcester Sharks tickets, Wachusett Mountain ski passes, Bella Mia Gift Basket, Red Sox tickets, and Yoga classes.

Ted. is a non-profit community foundation that was launched in the spring of 2007. Its mission is to fund teacher-sponsored, student-focused projects that encourage students to pursue their interests through activities that would not typically be funded by the district’s operating budget.
